Firm Announcement – Metro Manila, others ease quarantine restrictions
To our valued colleagues and friends, the Philippine Government has now put Metro Manila under a general community quarantine (GCQ) status until 31 August 2020. Other places that will also be under a GCQ set-up are the provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal. Previously, the mentioned places were placed on a stricter two week modified enhanced community quarantine.
Meanwhile, Cebu City, Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City, Talisay City, Minglanilla and Consolacion in Cebu Province, Iloilo City as well as the province of Nueva Ecija, Batangas and Quezon will remain under a general community quarantine (GCQ) set-up from 16 August 2020 to 31 August 2020.
The rest of the Philippines shall be under a less strict modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) status.
Government operations, businesses, services, public transportation and movement of people are restricted based on the prevailing quarantine status. Under a GCQ set-up, the movement of all persons shall still be limited to accessing essential goods and services and for work in the offices or industries permitted to operate either at full or limited capacity. Leisure activities are not allowed. Work in government offices may be at full operational capacity, or under such alternative work arrangements as agencies may deem proper in accordance with prevailing rules. Public transportation will be allowed on a limited capacity.
Considering the fluidity of the situation, regulations are subject to periodic evaluation and may change.
Alternative work arrangements have been adopted by Del Rosario & Del Rosario as well as Del Rosario Pandiphil. We shall continue to assist through calls and emails. We again thank everyone for their continued support and understanding during this extraordinary time.
