Saben Loyola is a Partner at the Firm with extensive experience in corporate law, foreign investments, mergers/acquisitions, data privacy, insurance, labor law, people claims, wet & dry marine, cargo, and civil litigation. 

He co-heads the Firm’s corporate practice group with clientele consisting of mostly foreign companies. Over the years, the Firm’s corporate practice group has been instrumental in the establishment of a permanent presence in the Philippines for many foreign companies. Saben also acts as corporate secretary and retained counsel for a number of shipping and manning companies in the Philippines.

He is a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) certified Corporate Compliance Officer and has a Certificate from the 4th Short Course on Maritime Law administered by the University of South Hampton. He also attended the Shipping and Risk Management Short Course by the World Maritime University.

Aside from his legal practice, he is also a part-time law professor (on leave). He is also a member of professional organizations such as the Maritime Law Association and Philippine Bar Association. He also used to be the Editor-In-Chief of the San Beda Law Journal.
